The location was particularly good - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. This hotel was in a peaceful area right by the shops, bars, and restaurants, public transport, the lake and the lovely pubs in Bowness, and the city centre.

Clean place & amazing friendly staff with a great service. Plenty of good food for meals. The rooms extremely pleasant and airy with shower and sofa. Charming old and truly exceptional hotel in a very central location between two villages. Plus, a minute walk from Windermere Jetty Museum.

The location was marvellous and beautiful for bars and restaurants. It took only 15 minutes to walk to Royalty Cinema bus stop. New-fashioned room, super-friendly staff — everything was really good.

The food in the restaurant is really good, with a tasty breakfast that has generous portions and also includes toast and yoghurts; the hotel is situated in a lovely location close to everything.

The rooms here are brand-new and have a romantic vibe, with lovely decor and a sash window. It's just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

The breakfast at The White Lodge was incredibly tasty, and they even catered exceptionally well for vegetarians. The location of the hotel was so convenient, with its proximity to the stunning Lake District, as well as the nearby shops, bars, restaurants, and Windermere center.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Stayed here 1st - 2nd Feb and it was my first time in the Lakes, was very impressed - staff really friendly and easy to talk to. As we were celebrating a birthday we had cake and Prosecco in the room, which was absolutely beautiful with a lake view too! Would definitely recommend this place. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to our door in a hamper for us to enjoy in our room, and was delicious, Jenny had thought of everything. There was even a Tassimo machine for us to make drinks if we wanted. The bathroom was roomy, contained everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We had a lovely stay, thank you Jenny.

We recently stayed at a lovely accommodation in Bowness for a mini break. Arriving early, we were pleasantly surprised when the staff allowed us to check in ahead of time. Our room, despite being near the main road, was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for easy access to public transport, the lake, and the charming pubs in the area. We appreciated the delicious and varied breakfast options. The friendly staff even let us leave our bags after check-out so we could enjoy a final stroll before catching our train. we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at a four-star hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was lovely and roomy with a comfortable large bed. The location was ideal, as it was a nice easy walk to the town and there were beautiful places to walk around. The staff were very friendly and helpful too, going over and beyond for their guests. They even ironed my partner's shirt, which was a nice touch. The room amenities were great, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The room also had a sitting area and garden furniture. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
